This set of two Comforto lounge chairs, designed by Charles Pollock in the 1960s, is in very good condition. The chairs come in an elegant combination of black/brown hopsack cover with black back shells. The fabric covers on the seats and backs are in almost new condition. The same goes for the black plastic shells and armrests. The chairs can be turned sideways and have a return function. The plastic cover on one of the star feet was repaired in the past, and signs of wear are visible here. This model was only produced in very small numbers in the lounge chair version.

 Charles Pollock, an American industrial and furniture designer, designed these chairs for the German manufacturer Comforto, which has been producing office furniture since 1863. In addition to this model, he also designed similar chairs for Knoll Int. The chairs became a design classic.
