A magnificent pair of classic 1930s stools with original upholstery in very good condition. The brick-red fabric with white stripes shows minimal signs of wear. The cord that supports the chairs' shape is flawless and strong. The poufs feature an unusual, tapered cubist shape. They offer a comfortable seating experience thanks to the springs in the seat, which are also in very good condition.

The renowned architect Jindrich Halabala presumably designed these stools for the Czech furniture manufacturer UP Zavody, which implemented several of his designs. Produced in the 1930s.
