This set of two Art Deco armchairs comes in its original cover with signs of wear commensurate with its age. The red fabric cover with its ornamentation points to the late 20s/early 30s and still shows a strong color. The armrests of the armchairs have an oak edging which harmonizes beautifully with the color of the fabric. The feet of the armchairs are curved at the front and straight at the back in oak. One of the armchairs shows slight abrasion on the seat. The cords on the front seat are undamaged and firm.

 The design of the armchairs is reminiscent of the iconic streamlined shapes of the 1920s. The armchairs were probably made in Germany.
