A classic tubular steel armchair in the Art Deco style of the 1930s. The armchair comes with a dark green cover made of imitation leather and a frame made of chrome tubes which have been doubled in the area of the armrests. The seat cushion has slight signs of wear on the seat but offers good seating comfort. It has been reinforced with a leather attachment on one of the rear corners to protect it from the metal frame. The back cushion is in very good condition. The chrome frame shows a slight patina but has a beautiful shine.

The chair is attributed to the American designer Gilbert Rhode and the Troy Sunshade factory in the USA, which produced several of these models. Probably manufactured in the 1930s.
