The Asko Pulkka lounge chair in black leather is in very good condition. The leather is soft and shows only a minimal patina. The seat shell of the chair rests on an aluminum frame and is adjustable in three positions. The frame and the leather-covered armrests show virtually no signs of wear. The chair also features a leather headrest cushion.
Finnish designer Ilmari Lappalainen designed this armchair for Asko Finland in the late 1960s, creating a design classic. The Finnish furniture manufacturer Asko was founded in 1919 and earned a reputation in the 1960s and 1970s by collaborating with top designers and delivering innovative designs.
