The very rare daybed from the Farmer series by Bofinger comes in black wood and is in very good condition. The frame shows minimal signs of wear, one rivet has been replaced by a newer one. The bed consists of 8 slats and 4 corner posts made of solid ash wood which are put together in an ingenious system. The slatted frame is inserted. The lying surface is 80x190 cm. The delivery does not include a mattress.

 The German designer Gerd Lange designed this model in the mid-1960s for the Stuttgart manufacturer Bofinger in a groundbreaking design that was far ahead of later Scandinavian designs. Gerd Lange is one of the outstanding German designers who has worked with top manufacturers and has received several awards for his designs.
