This caramel-colored lounge chair designed by Eugen Schmidt for Soloform is in good condition. The leather harmonizes beautifully with the wood of the armrests and shows slight signs of wear with minimal patina. The dark brown wooden frame shows some slight signs of wear on the upper part of the back and one armrest. The solid star base made of cast metal with plastic plates is in very good condition and rotates smoothly.

The German architect Eugen Schmidt designed several design icons for Soloform in the 1960s. Among other things, Eugen Schmidt furnished the Chancellor's Bungalow. His designs were marketed under Soloform or ES. This armchair dates from the 1960s.
